This environment will be in process for a full year or more. It is created around and above a contemplative pond. A natural circle of living trees provided the scaffolding that was developed further with trees, branches and roots found nearby. Additionally, simulated stained glass components, inspired by real models interacting with the pond, offer luminosity to the environment. Changing sunlight, daily and seasonally, creates shifting reflections in the pond. The trees ascending towards the sky, integrated with lotus flowers, both painted and real, symbolize the regenerative spirit rising daily. In total this installation seeks to join earth and sky, rootedness and ascension.
