A River Runs Through Us
|
This
comprehensive mural project involved the entire school, focused on the
evolution of the Glasco community along the Hudson River. Every
grade from K-6, including parents, teachers and outside community
members created a 4' x 8' panel focused on a specific theme within
the larger concept. The river flows through all the panels
unifying the many historical vignettes. The first and last two panels on
each side explain the process with panel descriptions written by each
participant group. The mural became an example of living history
in a 4th grade text book. |
