This inner city environment, created in a pocket park at a busy corner, was sponsored by Operation Green Thumb through its Artist in the Gardens Program. Thirty simulated stained glass panels, depicting community members at work in their neighborhood, created a holographic experience as painted images and text melded imperceptibly with the real neighborhood surrounding the site. Following the dedication Ms. Togut began a public art and education program through 1996 by which the community created art for itself in weekly workshops and a second garden down the street.
