This collaborative mural exemplifies the work of those challenged by traumatic brain injuries and related conditions at the Northeast Center for Special Care in Lake Katrine, NY. Resident artist rebuilt their lives through the Fine Arts Program working in the dynamic inviting art studio. Ms. Togut directs this program, nurturing people with diverse abilities, enormous personal challenges and inspiring approaches. Collaborative endeavors such as this, in particular, help residents to reenter community as they move through stages of healing and wellness. |
