Lifeforce; Gifts from the River

These two sculptural installations are part of a series which grew out of a site-specific Lifeforce environments along local waterways, created almost yearly since 1996. They were developed for indoor gallery settings using indigenous elements found along the Hudson River in combination with hand-painted simulated stained glass components. Transparency, color and light have been employed over the years to express the ephemeral nature and complexity of life.
