A design team project headed up by Ms. Togut with an architect, landscape designer, city planners and community members designed an inner
city park into a Civil Rights Memorial. A open roof Dalle d'vere stained glass structure set in a sandstone foundation tells the tale of the Civil Rights movement in Phoenix through transparent images and text. Additionally, pathways with benches and stained glass sculptures lead to the contemplative place.
